INSURANCE
Please bring your current dental insurance information to your appointment, so we can expedite reimbursement. We will be happy to let you know if your insurance plan is accepted by our office prior to your treatment. We also will submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company so that you will know the portion of our charges that are your responsibility.
As a convenience to our patients with dental insurance, our office will submit the charges to your insurance carrier at no extra cost.
Please understand that your insurance is a contract between you and the insurance company. No insurance company covers all dental costs. Some companies pay fixed allowances for certain procedures, and others pay a percentage of the charge.
It usually takes 3 to 6 weeks for benefits to be paid. If after 60 days the insurance company has not paid, we ask the patient to contact their insurance company to expedite payment.
OUR FINANCIAL POLICY
We have made and will continue to make every effort to keep down the cost of your dental care. Our policy is to request payment at the time of our dental treatment. We try to avoid sending statements because the cost of paperwork, postage, and manpower affect our fees.
We do our best to adjust to our patients' requirements in planning for the investment in superior dental health. Our treatment coordinator will work with you to arrange a treatment plan that fits your timetable and budget. We will be happy to discuss every procedure and fee before we start. We also will help you arrange for payment as several methods are acceptable. Please talk to one of our receptionists if you have any questions.
